Tally Zero

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 June 2026

Tally Zero is a personal finance tracker operated by Everton Spader ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not use your financial records for any purpose other than running the app for you.

We never connect to your bank

Tally Zero has no link to your bank, card or any financial institution. We do not use Plaid, MX, or any account-aggregation service, and we never ask for or store your banking credentials. Everything in Tally Zero is entered by you, manually. There is no pipe between your bank and us to leak, sell, or breach — because it does not exist.

What we collect

How we use it

Who we share it with

Only the service providers required to run Tally Zero: Clerk for sign-in, and Expo / Apple Push Notification service for delivering notifications. Your financial records are stored on our own server and are not shared with advertisers or data brokers.

Storage and retention

Your data is stored on our servers and retained while your account is active. Deleting your account from within the app removes your data.

Your rights

You can view and edit your data in the app at any time, and delete your account (and its data) from Settings. For any other request, contact us at [email protected].

Children

Tally Zero is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 16.

Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and encryption at rest on our servers and backups. Access to the database is restricted to the running service. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the date above.
